Funding and recognition

SPARC invests funding and support services in organisations that:

have the capability to increase the participation of New Zealanders
achieve consistent success
have effective business systems, to assure outcomes.

Higher levels of SPARC support are available for organisations classified as Development, Participation and Performance Sport organisations.

List of recognised NSOs: The national sport organisations listed below are recognised by SPARC.

High performance investment: Between August and November 2009 SPARC is implementing the fourth year of the High Performance Project Based Investment process. During this process project investment for 2009 is reviewed, and decisions on 2010 investment made.
